26/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 26 November, the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance began its first assembly since its launch last July as part of the new industrial strategy for Europe (see EUROPE 12523/1 et 12524/5). “With hydrogen, I see the beginnings of a revolution. And I see Europe leading it ”, said European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson on this occasion. Bringing together the members of the Alliance (currently more than 800), the European Hydrogen Forum aims to strengthen collaboration, discuss the different perspectives of stakeholders and maintain a dialogue with the European institutions, in order to help European hydrogen research and industry contribute to the EU’s climate goals. This event also marks the beginning of a new phase for the Alliance, since in December this year it will launch six thematic round tables, in the form of working groups responsible for its operational work.
