EU RESPONSE TO COVID-19 / Foreign affairs
Commission concludes several financial guarantee agreements amounting to €990 million
Brussels, 12/11/2020 (Agence Europe)

In order to stimulate investment in Africa and the EU neighbourhood to address Covid-19, the European Commission concluded on Thursday 12 November several financial guarantee agreements worth €990 million with partner financial institutions.

In total, these guarantees are expected to generate up to €10 billion of investment.
