European Parliament endorses regulation on aid to Baltic cod fishermen 

Brussels, 12/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 11 November, the European Parliament approved (587 votes in favour, 22 against, and 77 abstentions) the interinstitutional compromise text allowing aid for the permanent cessation of fishing activities for fleets fishing for eastern Baltic cod, western Baltic cod, and western Baltic herring (see EUROPE B12579A9).
