More than €17 million EU support for health systems in Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan to tackle Covid-19

06/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 November, the European Union approved an additional €17.2 million from the EU Emergency Trust Fund for Africa (EUTF) to respond to the Covid-19 crisis in Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan. The full amount of the fund’s support for the emergency health response in the Horn of Africa is €300 million.
