Theodoros Mikropoulos new Force Commander for Operation Irini

19/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – Greek Commodore Theodoros Mikropoulos became Force Commander of Operation EUNAVFOR Med Irini on Monday 19 October, replacing Italian Rear Admiral Ettore Socci. Mr Mikropoulos takes command of maritime assets while Italian Rear Admiral Fabio Agostini will continue to lead the operation from the Operational Headquarters in Rome.
