Commission launches public consultation on its 2021-2030 strategy on rights of people with disabilities

The European Commission opened a four-week public consultation on Thursday 15 October on its roadmap for the new 10-year strategy on the rights of people with disabilities. A non-legislative initiative is expected to be presented early next year, says the EU institution.

Having consulted this summer with the representatives of the four member institutions of the EU Framework for the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD - see EUROPE B12522A21), the Commission is now...
