Inflation confirmed at -0.3% in September in euro area

19/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – Euro area annual inflation was -0.3% in September 2020, down from -0.2% in August according to data released by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Friday 16 October. European Union annual inflation was 0.3% in September 2020, down from 0.4% in August. The lowest annual rates were registered in Greece (-2.3%), Cyprus (-1.9%), Estonia (-1.3%) and Italy (-1.0%).
