David Sassoli is quarantining himself for ten days as a precaution

08/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – European Parliament President David Sassoli announced on Thursday, 8 October, that he is quarantining himself as a precaution after having “recently [been] in contact with a member of my staff who today tested positive for Covid-19”. His spokesperson told EUROPE that the quarantine would last ten days, starting on Thursday, in accordance with the rules in force in Belgium. “I am fine and have no symptoms,” Mr Sassoli said via Twitter.
