Meeting in plenary session on Thursday 8 October, MEPs adopted by a large majority (542 votes in favour, 63 against and 89 abstentions) the legislative own-initiative report on digital finance drafted by Czech MEP Ondřej Kovařík (Renew Europe), which makes a series of recommendations, including setting up a European supervisory authority for crypto-assets.
