Sophie in 't Veld questions Commission on compatibility of requirements of US ‘FATCA’ law with GDPR regulation

MEP Sophie in 't Veld (Renew Europe, Netherlands) is still holding the European Commission to account over the US Foreign Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) (see EUROPE B12466A24).

She announced on Wednesday 23 September that she had sent a new written question to the Commission on the compatibility of the US requirements with the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
