European Commission proposes €2 million to support workers in Spanish shipbuilding sector

11/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 11 September, the European Commission proposed allocating €2 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to help 500 redundant shipbuilding workers in Galicia to find new jobs. The objective is to help job seekers to focus on seeking jobs in other sectors and gain new skills through vocational training, and to support them after they have found a new job.
