Covid-19, Romanian fish farmers receive additional support from EMFF

02/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Tuesday 1 September that Romania has amended its Operational Programme for the implementation of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) to help the country’s fish farmers in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Romania has allocated €5 million in public aid to compensate aquaculture companies for financial losses caused by the pandemic.
