19/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament approved by a large majority (502 votes in favour, 169 against and 17 abstentions), on Thursday 18 June, the interinstitutional agreement reached with the EU Council on the proposal for a regulation “CRR quick fix”, which aims to ease certain banking prudential rules so that the banking sector continues to finance the economy during the crisis resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic (see EUROPE B12501A1).
