European Parliament backs EU-Israel aviation agreement

19/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 18 June, MEPs approved (437 votes in favour, 102 against and 147 abstentions) the conclusion of an aviation agreement between the EU and Israel. The agreement should improve connectivity between the two sides and, according to text rapporteur Andor Deli (EPP, Hungary), “bring legal certainty to workers and companies”.
