Parliamentary committee approval paves way for adoption of mobility package in plenary session

The provisional agreement reached with EU ministers on ‘Mobility Package I’ was approved by the European Parliament's Transport Committee (TRAN) on Monday 8 June.

The three texts that make up the package were adopted without any amendments (see EUROPE B12501A15).

There were 30 votes in favour of the directive on posting, with 19 against and no abstentions; 33 votes in favour of the Regulation on driving and resting time and tachographs, with 15 against and 1 abstention; 33 votes in...
