EU Council adopts conclusions for a space policy aimed at greening Europe’s economy

04/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 4 June, the EU Council adopted its conclusions by written procedure on its space policy called “Space for a sustainable Europe”. In essence, these conclusions underline the importance of space data in the framework of the Green Deal and ask the Commission to make an in-depth analysis of the European “New Space”, i.e. the European private space sector and the potential it represents for the EU economy (see EUROPE 12495/9).
