Portugal, Spain and Italy called for a European minimum income, not a minimum wage

12/05/2020 (Agence Europe) – In the title of the article dated 11 May where we reported that Portugal, Spain and Italy were calling for a European minimum income scheme to be set up (see EUROPE B12484A30), we used the term ‘wage’, whereas, as we indicated in the body of the text, the countries were calling for a minimum income (priority 14 in the European pillar of social rights).
