Warsaw to agree to abide by ruling ordering it to suspend disciplinary regime against judges

On Friday 8 May, the Polish government was due to inform the European Commission whether it intends to implement the ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union ordering it to immediately suspend the new disciplinary regime for judges who are critical of the government (see EUROPE B12264A29).
