Nine Member States and United States denounce Russian efforts to “falsify history”

The Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the US Secretary of State, in a joint statement on 7 May, the eve of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, regretted efforts to falsify history. They target Russia without naming it.
