EU Member States invited to approve SURE instrument on 13 May

The European temporary support instrument to mitigate the risks of unemployment in an emergency (SURE) will be submitted for approval to the meeting of the Member States' Ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) on Wednesday 13 May.

We are told that the working group that met on Wednesday 6 May to discuss the new version of the compromise drawn up by the Croatian Presidency of the EU Council went smoothly. The issue of the terms of use for national guarantees has been definitively settled...
