The College of European Prosecutors should soon be formed. The Selection Panel is due to hear, on 13 March, the two Maltese candidates nominated by their government on 31 January.
This is stated in a non-paper from the Commission on the state of play on the setting up of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, dated 17 February, of which EUROPE has received a copy.
