Paul Tang confirms his interest in chairing future European Parliament Subcommittee on Taxation Issues

19/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – Dutch MEP Paul Tang (S&D, the Netherlands) confirmed on Wednesday 19 February his wish to chair the European Parliament’s future standing sub-committee on tax issues at an event organised by Accountancy Europe in Brussels. Though the terms of the creation of the subcommittee are still under negotiation between the political groups, there is already reportedly an agreement for its chairmanship to revert to the S&D Group (see EUROPE B12419A5).
