Lisbon takes up torch from Oslo as European Green Capital

10/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – Lisbon will officially become the European Green Capital 2020 on Saturday 11 January. European Commission Executive Vice President Frans Timmermans and Environment Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius will be in Lisbon for the opening ceremony of the event, which will see Oslo hand over the torch to the Portuguese capital for the resumption of the title.
