Mr Hogan confirmed increased flexibility in promotional actions due to US sanctions

The European Commission will allow greater flexibility in the EU’s agricultural promotion campaigns in response to the US sanctions in the Airbus case (see EUROPE B12373A13).

In a letter sent on Friday 22 November to MEP Irene Tolleret (Renew Europe, France) on the subject of the 25% additional customs duties applied on French wines by the United States, Commissioner Phil Hogan said that “providing greater flexibility in the implementation and management of promotional operations...
