General Affairs Council. - Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027: progress of work. - Preparation of the European Council on 12-13 December (examination of the draft Conclusions). - Strengthening respect for the rule of law: exchange of views with the Director of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, Michael O'Flaherty; Conclusions on the evaluation of the Council's annual dialogue on the rule of law. - Enlargement and the Stabilisation and Association Process: work update.

ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly (on 21/11). - COP25 challenges and the threat of climate change to fisheries and aquaculture. - Evolution of cooperation between the two parties. - Resolutions on: - industrialisation and digitalisation policies for ACP countries; - promotion of the active participation of young people in public life; - impact of social media on governance, development, democracy and stability. - Debate on sustainable agricultural production, gender mainstreaming in conflict management, investments in micro-enterprises, SMEs and start-ups.

Thursday 21 November

Education, Youth, Culture and Sport Council (and 22/11). *Culture : - Adoption of a resolution on the cultural dimension of sustainable development. - Debate on the theme "Strengths, innovation potential and global competitiveness of the European cultural, creative and audiovisual industries". *Sport : - Adoption of conclusions on the fight against corruption in sport (measures to be taken by the various actors). - Adoption of conclusions on the protection of children in sport (against prejudice, abuse, violence, exploitation) and their effective participation in sport. - Public debate on ways to promote good governance in sport, with the participation of the President of the World Anti-Doping Agency and the Polish Minister of Sport.
  • Brussels. Council of the EU. Foreign Affairs Council. *Trade. - Update on the reform of the World Trade Organisation WTO. - An update on recent developments in EU-US trade relations. - Policy debate on the implementation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). - Informal debate on trade relations with China.

Committee activities. - LIBE: Discussion with representatives of the EEAS, the UN and NGOs on the situation of migrants in Libya. - AFET-DROI-SEDE: discussion with the UN Under Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, on EU-UN cooperation and possible synergies in peacekeeping missions and on the possibility of a collaborative platform on Women, Peace and Security.

Friday 22 November
