German climate law passed by Bundestag

15/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – on Friday 15 November, the German Parliament (Bundestag) approved the climate law under which Germany aims to achieve a 55% reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 as compared to 1990. This law outlines the climate plan announced by the German Grand Coalition two months ago, on the day of the global climate strike (see EUROPE B12332A12). (AN)
