Environment Council. - Climate change: policy debate on a long-term strategic vision for a climate-neutral economy; discussion and adoption of conclusions defining the EU's position for the forthcoming UN Climate Change Conference (COP25 - Chile, 2-13/12); the Finnish Presidency will inform Ministers on the taxonomy regulation on sustainable finance. - Environmental Action Programme: debate on the need to adopt an 8th Environmental Action Programme and adoption of conclusions providing political guidance for EU environmental and the fight against climate change policies for the period 2021-2030. - Circular economy: adoption of conclusions on further efforts to stimulate a transition to a sustainable society. - Emissions: presentation by the Finnish Presidency of the progress of work on the Regulation on the type-approval of motor vehicles with regard to emissions (Euro5 and Euro6 standards); communication by the Danish delegation on the country's efforts towards a zero-emission passenger car fleet.
