Cyprus appoints Stella Kyriakides as next European Commissioner

26/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 26 July, the Cypriot President decided to appoint Stella Kyriakides as the next European Commissioner in the next European Commission chaired by Ursula von der Leyen. Mrs Kyriakides, 63, currently a member of the Cypriot Parliament, has served as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. (CG)
