European Parliament Committee examines four amending budgets for 2019

On Monday 22 July in Brussels, under the leadership of the new general rapporteur on the 2019 EU budget, John Howarth (S&D, UK), the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets discussed four draft reports on proposals to amend the EU budget for 2019.

These reports cover the first four draft amending budgets (see EUROPE B12240A10) regarding the EU budget for 2019: - budgeting for the 2018 surplus (+€1.8 billion in payments); - reinforcement of the appropriations for the Horizon 2020 and...
