Employer organisations BusinessEurope, SMEunited, and Ceemet welcomed the election of German Ursula von der Leyen as the head of the European Commission on Tuesday, 16 July, as well as her work programme (see EUROPE B12296A1). On that occasion, they made convergent proposals to guide the new Commission’s emerging mandate.
