Negotiations on posts at the head of the European institutions continued at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, with a view to reaching an agreement on Sunday 30 June.
"From Osaka I continue my consultations on appointments, including with EU leaders not present at G20", confirmed European Council President Donald Tusk in a tweet on the morning of Friday 28 June, saying he had spoken to 13 European leaders by phone.
