Commission consults to extend European network of public employment services until 2027

24/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – Last week, the European Commission launched a public consultation to extend the duration of the European network of public employment services until 2027. According to Decision 573/2014/EU, the network was due to end on 31 December 2020. However due to strong support from the various stakeholders and a great deal of positive feedback, the Commission proposes to renew the network for the duration of the next multiannual financial framework (2021-2027).
