European Banking Federation welcomes EBA's approach on security standards for payment services

24/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 21 June, the European Banking Federation (EBF) welcomed the opinion of the European Banking Authority (EBA) delivered on the same day (see EUROPE B12280A10) on the implementation of regulatory technical standards (RTS) on strong customer authentication under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), applicable in September 2019.
