A first report on internal security risks of 5G submitted to ministers

European Home Affairs Ministers, but also Telecommunications Ministers, took note, on Friday 7 June in Luxembourg, of the report by the EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, Gilles de Kerchove, on the risks that 5G technology could pose to internal security (see EUROPE B12270A5).

However, they did not have any discussion on this subject. This was only a presentation of the report and a first-ever item on this subject on the agenda of the Interior Ministers.
