30/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 29 April, the Polisario Front, who claims it is the legitimate representation of the people of Western Sahara, brought an action before the Court of Justice of the European Union seeking the annulment of the agreement signed on 28 January 2019 between the EU and Morocco on the amendment of Protocols 1 and 4 to the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, on one side, and the Kingdom of Morocco, on the other (see EUROPE 12178/34). The Polisario Front will soon initiate another appeal against the EU/Morocco Fisheries Agreement (see EUROPE 12206/24). (LC)
