29/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – At a meeting at the Benelux House in Brussels on Wednesday 27 March, the Benelux trade unions (CSC-ACV, ABVV-FGTB, ACLVB-CGSLB, FNV, CNV, OGBL, VCP and LCGB) committed themselves to meet once a year with the Benelux General Secretariat. Objective: to contribute to the intensification of socio-economic and climate cooperation between the three Member States. The basis for this cooperation will be founded on a declaration already adopted at the beginning of January on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Benelux to make it the "powerhouse within Europe" to promoting the European social model.
