Council approves technical amendments to Energy Efficiency Directive due to Brexit

04/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 March, the EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate the proposal amending Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency and Regulation 2018/1999 on the governance of the energy union, to take into account the future withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU (see EUROPE 12194, 12183).
