Jyrki Katainen, Vice-President of the European Commission, and representatives from Qatar, signed an aviation agreement on Monday 4 March to promote air links between the European Union and Qatar.
This signature follows the conclusion of negotiations on this subject, which were held on 5 February of this year (see EUROPE 12187).
