GUE/NGL group at the European Parliament launches call for applications for 2019 journalist whistleblower prize

11/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 8 February, the GUE/NGL Group in the European Parliament announced that nominations for its annual prize for journalists, whistleblowers and defenders of the right to information, are officially open until 1 March. This award, created in 2018, honours individuals or groups who have been intimidated or persecuted for revealing essential information to the public.
