European Left Party will decide on Spitzenkandidate

24/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Executive Board of the European Left Party (ELP) is expected to decide on the Spitzenkandidate for the European elections on Saturday 26 January. The options remain open for the time being. Three names are still in circulation. Some would consider the presentation of co-Spitzenkandidaten, similar to what the Greens/EFAs did (see EUROPE 12139). Others suggest simply not introducing anyone. (PH)
