Noise and environmental pollution continues to rise in aviation sector

The European Environment Agency (EEA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and Eurocontrol submitted the second European Aviation Environmental Report – in which the three entities point out that “the contribution of aviation activities to climate change, noise and air quality impacts is increasing” – to the European Commission on Thursday, 24 January.
