EU to observe presidential elections on 3 February

15/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – Following the invitation by the Salvadorian authorities, the European Union is deploying an Election Observation Mission to El Salvador to observe the Presidential Election, due to take place on 3 February 2019. This mission, which will be led by Carlos Iturgaiz (EPP, Spain), will consist of nine analysts and 28 long-term observers who are already on site.
