European Parliament validates continuation of funding from 2021 to 2027 for ITER

15/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 15 January, the European Parliament approved the proposal on the continuation from 2021 to 2027 of financing for the ITER Joint Undertaking and fusion energy development activities. However, Parliament recalled the delay in the construction of this experimental reactor, since ITER was originally scheduled to be built by 2020.
