31/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – With Denmark having thwarted an attack on its soil and accusing Iran of being behind it, the spokesperson for the European External Action Service, Maja Kocijancic, said on Wednesday 31 October that the EU expected the Danish authorities' debrief to member states "as soon as possible". "We have seen the report about a significant incident in Danemark (...) We are in touch with Danish authorities at several levels and expect their debrief to member states as soon as possible", Kocijancic told press, saying that the investigation is led by the Danish authorities. She also deplored any threat to EU security, adding that every incident was taken "very seriously". Denmark's Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said that "measures against Iran (would be) discussed within the EU". (CG)
