On Thursday 25 October, the President of the General Court of the European Union (EGC) rejected the actions for interim measures brought by the banks Crédit agricole and JPMorgan Chase in cases T-419/18 and T-420/18, seeking to block the publication of the European Commission's decision of December 2016 ordering the two banks plus HSBC to pay €485 million in fines for a cartel on the euro inter-bank interest rate (EURIBOR) derivatives markets (see EUROPE 11684).
