Negotiators in the Parliament and the Council hope to reach a political agreement on 21 and 22 November on two important issues in the 'Clean Energy package', namely the 'risk-preparedness' regulation in the electricity sector and the regulation on the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
Trilogues took place on 23 October on these issues, during which progress was made, especially on the issue of risk-preparedness in the energy sector.
