Uncertainty around passenger cars in advance of vote on road charges

Uncertainty surrounds the inclusion of light vehicles in the scope of the revised Directive 1999/62/EC on road infrastructure charges, due to potential votes by MEPs, particularly from Austria and Germany, while MEPs meeting in plenary session will vote on Thursday 25 October.
