Third round of European Parliament/Council negotiations in November on spirit drinks

22/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 22 October, the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA) approved the mandate given to the Austrian Presidency of the Council to continue negotiations with the European Parliament team on the Spirit Drinks Regulation (see EUROPE 11972). The compromise text presented by the Austrian Presidency will have to be formally approved by delegations by 26 October (so-called silent procedure), with a view to the third trilogue on 27 November. (LC)
