Confidentiality of communications, long-awaited meeting of national experts at Council

Member State experts will again work on the draft regulation on the confidentiality of electronic communications on 26 October. 

This exchange, the first upon the whole text since June, will be based on a new compromise text from the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Parliament and could be decisive for the future of the dossier, given the proximity of the European elections.
