Basic skills still an issue in the EU, according to 2018 Monitor of the European Commission

The European Union may fail to meet the targets it has set itself for 2020 in terms of education in the basic skills and lifelong learning categories. This is intimated by the Education and Training Monitor to be published on 16 October.
